Dr. Jay Beatman is Accepting New Patients!

Dr Jay Beatman has expanded his role with us to be full time and has immediate openings for adults. He has been with Northeast Neuropsychology for 9 years and is amazing!

Dr. Beatman earned his undergraduate degree at Tufts University. He obtained his master’s degree in clinical psychology at Long Island University. Dr. Beatman continued his doctoral education in clinical psychology at the University of Hartford. He underwent his pre-doctoral internship at the Institute of Living & Hartford Hospital, where he provided psychotherapy and psychological assessment to adults and adolescents. Dr. Beatman’s doctoral dissertation explored the challenges that individuals may navigate in the process of identity development during their transition from late adolescence to young adulthood. He completed his post-doctoral training at the Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut. Dr. Beatman specializes in psychotherapy and counseling with adults, couples, families & young adults age 19 and up.
